Miss Kuyamis 2021 Top 5 Predictions

My 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦 𝗞𝗨𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 First Hot Picks

The province of 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹—the place where I grew up in, has proven quite enough that it is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the national pageant scene, with its continuous successes in the Miss Earth Philippines, Miss Millennial Philippines, and Miss Universe Philippines pageants. Now with the 2021 Miss Kuyamis competition off to a good start, local pageant observers like me are presented once again with an amazing lineup of young women all of which has the potential to become a Miss Philippines hopefully soon, or in the near future. Another proof that Misamis Oriental absolutely takes its selection seriously, because who knows, the future Miss Universe Philippines will come from this province? ✨

Assessing the photos uploaded by the Miss Kuyamis pageant in their official page, I was able to come up with an early list of favorites—girls whom I think has every bit of that potential  to give a good fight in the pre-pageant activities and eventually, in the coronation gala January of next year. Remember that this personal evaluation of mine is purely based on the photos posted (the star quality, charisma, and connection they displayed on their pictures). Other factors weren't included.

𝟭 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗡 | 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗮

As of the moment, leading my first hot picks is this gorgeous lass from the municipality of Jasaan, Dannah. Her beauty reminds me so much of Demi-Leigh, Miss Universe 2017. It seems that she has a lot more up her sleeves so I'm definitely keeping an eye on this girl.

𝟮 𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 | 𝗜𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮

If there's someone whom I believe will give Dannah a run for her money in the Beauty of Face category, then it's absolutely the delegate from the city of El Salvador, Ife Mae. She has an effortless charm and sophistication—and her face without a doubt fits the mold of Misamis Oriental's representatives in Miss Philippines Earth; from Nellza, Berjayneth, Ana Monica and Isobel.

𝟯 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗢𝗡 | 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 

While looking through the candidates' portraits, one girl caught my attention and that's Katheryn from Sugbongcogon. I'm an absolute fan of her hair—she gives me that Miss Jamaica, Caribbean beauty vibes we often see in Miss Universe. With a proper, polished and on-point styling, she could give our two early frontrunners a tight race towards the crown, hopefully.

Completing my current Top 5 as of the moment are the delegates of 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 (𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘀) in 4th, and 𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗠 (𝗔𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘃𝗮) in 5th.
